MI5 Persecution: Website Index (2546)

Persecuted by the Security Service

Since June 1990 the British security service MI5 has waged a campaign of harassment against a UK citizen,
through the broadcast and print media, verbal abuse at work, and molestation in public and during travel.

Despite widespread knowledge of the campaign in the UK and discussion of its characteristics on Usenet for
over three years, it continues today both in Britain and North America. Its cause and basis is xenophobia
on the basis of the genetic accident of mental illness, coupled with discrimination against an inferior
"foreigner" whom they condemn as "not up to British Standards".

If this is your first visit to this site, please read the FAQ first. Feel free to contact the author with
any questions.

Frequently Asked Questions article outlines the parameters of the persecution. Who is involved, and why?
What technical and social means do they employ? What response have I made, and why has their campaign yet
to be exposed?

The UK Security Services which are believed to be behind it all. Domestic security is the province of MI5
while the secret intelligence service MI6 combats foes (and its former employees) on foreign shores.

Usenet archive chronicling the (sometimes very enthusiastic) exchanges which have taken place on UK-local
newsgroups since May 1995. Make your mark on the continuing discussion!

Believe it or not, a few items of evidence have been recorded. Although none of them is particularly
conclusive, by presenting them I hope to explain what I understand from some television and radio programmes.
Most of the "clinching" material was aired in 1990-92, and no recordings exist now, which is quite unfortunate.

My complaints to the BBC and MI5 (via the Security Service Tribunal and Interception of Communications Tribunal),
and their response to my challenges, are recorded here. Basically they deny everything, they have put their
denials (mostly – Buerk and Lewis refused) in writing, and I don’t believe them. Part of the website also
documents media coverage of my campaign to expose the persecution.

Faxed articles to, and responses from British organisations including Parliament and UK media. Over 24,259 faxes
in all were sent from 1998 to 2000. Their aim was to boot discussion of the persecution into the public domain,
and that aim was not accomplished.

Re: Resynchronizing audio in video files

you might want to segregate the unsynced portion into a seperate file
and work on it in VirtualDub. Set both audio and video to ‘Direct
stream copy’ and adjust the delay under audio interleave settings. Then
save AVI as new file.

Broken Video File – what to do ?

Hey there ,
recently I have recorded some Home made video by my webcam .
If I remember right I recorded it compressed by : Divix ;-) mpeg-4 fast
motion (sorry,not sure …) .
anyway .. after I finished to do my stuff I tried to stop the
recoreding but the recoreding software got stuck , so I closed it by
ALT+CTRL+DEL .
then I saw that it saved my file as "Video0012" – without any extension
.
I wanted to see what I recoreded so I’ve put an ".avi" extension and
tried to open the file on any player you can think about : MP, WINAMP,
VLC media player , AVI preview , etc …
I even tried AVI fixers , video fixers and other shitty things ..
Dunno what to do – this is really important to me …
Any Idea that could help ?

Has anyone uuse PE3 with a Vinnov card?

Hi,

To try and resolve the problems I had capturing Hi8 video (see
previous post) I have obtained a Winnov Videum 1000 plus for good old
Ebay!

Has anybody used one of these with Photoshop Elements 3?

If so can you tell me which format/compression you used?  Did you use
the Winnov software or Virtualdub, or something else?

I have been trying various capture formats with my Nvidia wdm driver
and PE3 had varous problems trying to import it, it either hung or the
video was black corrupted!

I just need a simple way of getting my hi8 footage onto my pc,
preferably at a manageable compression, which will retain the hi8
quality, then do minor editing in PE and o/p to DVD.

I’m sure this would be simple if I had a Digital8 camcorder, but I
don’t and I’m new to all this and getting frustrated at buying an
expesive piece of software that only really wantes to work with
DV-Avi.

Can you use a codec to capture to DV-Avi ?

Any advice or links to guides etc would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

Ian

hp pavillio m7557c video capture problem

i have one of those great machines above and i am having problems with
the installed capture device.  the research ive done says that the
device is a conexant falcon 2 (which could just be the chipset and the
actual device is a diamond, but who knows).  i also discovered that the
only program to capture from the device is windows movie maker (which
blows).  the problem is that wmm capture the sound great but i only get
a green screen for video on the captured file.  while it is capturing
the video is great but the file size remains 5k no matter how long you
capture for.  any advice or maybe another program that someone has
found that will work better.  i really think that it is the software
not wanting to play well with the device.  any help is appreciated in
advance.  i also dont mind posting any other info about the system, but
i dont know what info is needed.
thanks,
zephoria

Avid Liquid Edition

Back in 2004, I purchased Pinnacle Liquid Edition that came with an AGP
graphics card that also did some H/W rendering.  I have just upgraded
from that system to a Core 2 Duo system and there is only PCIe and no
AGP.  I guess that is good but now, I have a faster system but a slower
editing system since it will all be done in S/W now.   Any ideas on
what to do with a brand new core 2 duo system with 2 gig of ram?  I
know my s/w is old but do most people use PCIe for h/w graphics, old
PCI, or ??  Any help would be appreciated.

TDA: Duration info?

I have imported a 9 minute DVD, but in Chapter Cut edit it is being
shown as about 4 mins. Yet if I drag the indicator I can see the
beginning and the end!

I suspect user error, but not sure exactly what…
